Go nuclear--simply put forward Medicare for All and make the Republicans in the Senate filibuster!

It's time to adopt Bush's strategy of pushing through everything we want and challenging the Republicans, who have fewer numbers than the Dems had at that time.

Don't seat Brown until bill is passed

If repubs can hold up Franken for 285 days and permantly block TSA app. Dems should start using same tactics

Let the republicans fillerbuster the health care bill for as long as they want. Place it on CSPAN.

Stop being afraid of a filibuster, let the republicans shut down the government. Place it on CSPAN thus the people can see what is going on. In addition, do not let any bills move until the health care bill moves to a vote.

Go Nuclear: Modify the 60-vote filibuster rule to 57, stop a minority from obstructing goverance

The senate is broken, and about the only governing body where a supermajority is required to get anything done. The rule only dates from the 1970's. Enough obstruction!

remember that it ONLY takes a majority (51 votes) to pass legislation. The Republicans did it!!!

A simple definition of "democracy" or "majority rule" is all that is necessary!!

tax wall street to pay for a decent plan

one of the fears people have about HCR, especially those with coverage now, is that the country can't afford it. Yet, a majority want to hit wall street. kill two birds with one stone.

Make sure those with pre-existing conditions are covered and not gouged!

Not only must we cover everyone with pre-existing conditions, we can not allow the insurance companies to gouge us because of it. The best way to solve this problem is through a Public Option.

    Let the Republicans filibuster

If the Republicans are willing to stand up and read the phone book for the mere purpose of refusing to vote on an issue, let them. How can shutting down the Senate help them?

Think like a person that has no health care and can't afford to pay for it.

start paying attention to what the voters of this country are asking for because they need it!

It is obvious that our congress is controlled by wealth, This is what they are paying attention to right now. Nothing else. It always has to do with creating wealth for someone, but when it comes to creating health for everyone...all of a sudden the 'sky is falling'. and we can't afford it. They ... more
